Is there a Parent Meeting?
Yes - Wednesday, March 24th at 7pm in the Student Center. We will have both a parent meeting and a student informational during this time. Please make every effort to be in attendance with your student this evening.
How much does it cost?

Does my student need any spending money?
The event registration fee will cover most of the expenses for your student during the weekend. If your student would like to purchase items during our late night activities, for example food from the food trucks, they need to bring spending money.
Are there required forms to attend?
Yes, other than the required registration form, all students will need to fill out the 2021 Minor Medical Release & Code of Conduct (available here). In addition, MS students need to have a signed iJump waiver turned in. All forms are included in the event registration confirmation email.
Is financial assistance available?
Yes, partial scholarships are available for any student and are based on need. All financial assistance requests are kept confidential. Please contact the Student Ministry office for more info - 903-525-1190.
What is a Small Group?
Our Small Groups are smaller groups of students led by trusted guest leaders that will teach through the weekend lessons and will build relationships to point each other closer to Jesus.
How does my student get into a Small Group?
Our student ministry staff will place all of the students into small groups based on grade and gender. The staff will do their best to place friends together in groups and build groups that will be most beneficial for everyone.
Are there any overnight activities this year?
No. Due to COVID, we will not have an overnight element this year for FUEL. This is a change from the past.
What will take place on Saturday afternoon?
We have some exciting plans for our students on Saturday afternoon! HS students will travel to various service projects around Tyler and participate in our Love ETX initiative. MS students will participate in a fast-paced REC competition with their small groups on campus at GABC.
What are the transportation arrangements?
All transportation to/from the church at the beginning and end of each day is the responsibility of the students' parents. During Saturday afternoon and Late Night, students will be transported via charter buses and church vans driven by trusted adults.
Are there any special Late Night activities?
We have an exciting line-up of Late Night activities planned for both MS and HS students. For Friday night, all students will get to be a part of FUEL Fiesta! which will take place at the Student Center. On Saturday, MS students will travel to iJump and HS students will go to Bonfire at Stonefort. Students will be transported via buses and vans for these off campus activities.
What if a student has a schedule conflict?
Students will need to communicate with their Small Group Leader or Student Ministry Staff regarding any conflicts to their attendance during the weekend. We want students to be able to attend as much of the weekend as possible.
Will students receive a free t-shirt with registration?
All students will receive a free t-shirt with registration. T-shirts will be distributed by Small Group Leaders during FUEL Weekend. Students will be encouraged to wear their shirts to church on Sunday morning.
